Live Poker Theory Training Software Alpha

The purpose of the Alpha program is to find people willing to provide feedback on the training software to make sure features being built are useful, bug-free, and polished. As a thank you, you will earn lifetime free access to the training software, access to any premium blog posts published during the alpha program, and my big thanks.

The Alpha program will be capped to around 10 people, primarily on a first-come first-serve basis.

The purpose of this document is to explicitly state expectations. However, I'm not looking to be pedantic about any details and there's a lot of flexibility in expectations. For example, if you need to take a break and resume at a later time, that's fine. Feel free to message me in Discord or email with any questions.

To the extent possible, keep as much discussion as possible in the Discord so it can be easily viewed by others.

Expectations

  1. Sign up for the site, join the Discord, and fill out this Alpha program info form
  2. After approval, use the training software for at least 5 minutes (or 100 card reviews) at least 4 times (twice a week) over a 2 week period.
  3. At the end of the 2 week period, provide written feedback about the trainer in the Discord. Feedback can include bug reports, UX confusion, feature requests, ideas, content suggestions, etc.
  4. Compete 6 of these 2 week usage & feedback cycles. It's ok if you need to take a break and split them up. Keep in mind you will hopefully be improving at poker by doing this!
  5. Optionally, join on a video call to discuss anything you like about poker or the site
  6. That's all! You will be marked as having successfully completed the alpha program and will get lifetime access to any premium features. You will also get access to all premium blog posts released during the alpha program.
  7. At some point, I will build a dashboard on the site marking your progress and completion of the program.

I will let you know if you're in the program within a few days. Mostly anyone interested will be approved, up to a cap of around 10 people.

You can start at any point after I confirm all enrollments and let you know. Keep in mind I am playing in the WSOP from July 5 to July 12 so I may have delayed communications within that window. I'll implement a formal tracking system for the alpha program soon, until that's ready I'll manually keep track of everyone's status.
